Pretty in Pink

Considering my birthday falls at a really annoying time of the year, and one of my good friends was in town I decided to have a pink birthday celebration. I had a great time, and thank my friends!!! a few highlights:
1. Yadi was there from Colorado
2. Steven and Margaux came up from Eugene
3. Leanne made me some adorable hot pick cupcakes... and brought a light up-furry-pink b-day crown
4. We got Kim to wear a pink dress
5. We got Molly to wear a great pair of green shoes
6. Jesse from the Bachelorette came!!

(more pictures to come)

tourist

Yadi came to visit this past weekend!! It was so fun to have a little Colorado back in my life, and to do all of the tourist things I never get to do in Portland. We went to a Rockies game, and didn't really watch the game at all but she got to see the beer garden! Friday we went to Multonomah Fall for a little hike... in the HOT sun! Then we crossed the bridge of the Gods to Skamania lodge for a little snack and an amazing view. Saturday we did the Rose Garden and some sunbathing in Jamison Square... and I promise we saw plenty of the Portland night life! (sorry I suck at remembering to take pictures.. I'm working on it!)

recap of the past year

I can fill anyone in on the details that have brought me to where I am now. I finished classes at Colorado State University in December of 07 and walked the following spring. I stayed in Fort Collins and worked as an event coordinator until the end of June. Then I moved back to Portland for an internship with Nike golf where I assisted with the designs of women's golf. In march I was hired as a full time employee- Nike Golf Design Apprentice!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't tell I was SSSOOOO excited! The first thing I did with the new permanent salary was bought a small condo... more like a glorified dorm room. ( many more posts and pictures to follow) Now I am in Portland doing the work thing and building a new life.

hello

I realize that I am doing a lot of new things in my life and have friends and family all over the county that are trying to keep up with the happenings... and to be honest I can't keep on top of who cares, who has already heard what, and it is a lot of talking on the phone. I'm really excited and proud of where I have come as a person and all of the growing up and fun I have had lately, this way anyone who is curious or bored can just check it out!
